Hanley Voices performed a rollicking, swashbuckling extravaganza of watery music at Hanley Castle High School. Everything from shanties and Gospel to modern classics and Italian 'Gondolieri'. The show weighed anchor at 7p.m. in a hall packed with smiling, enthusiastic mariners of all ages.
The choir was delighted to welcome young singers from Upton Primary School who performed their own 'River Songs' and sang lustily with Hanley Voices in other pieces
